MISSION
Goal
People in marginal and need situation that live or frequent
the Historic Center of Salvador.
Location
Historic Center of Salvador: Pelourinho, Terreiro de Jesus,
Baixa dos Sapateiros, Carlos Gomes, Praça da Sé,
Santo Antonio, Ladeira da Montanha, Ladeira da Conceição
e adjacências.
Objective
Make action what the Gospel of Christ is, which brings total
deliverance, bringing HOPE and GOD’S LOVE to our neighbors.
Actuation area
Develop assistencial work with due spiritual orientation,
for example:
Dawn with God?Christmas Dinner People in Need ?Ressocialization
Center
?PURIM (to children living the streets) ? I.D.E. (Home evangelism)
?SOPA (Serve, Pray, Preach and Act)

HISTORY
On May 20th of 1990, after a Word of awakening for the Historic
Center region needs, encouraged by the “Go ye therefor”
, the Deacon (today Pastor) Aurizer Braga de Sena and the
brother Antônio Carlos Jesus Sobral, with sixteen represented
churches, made a true Evangelistic Impact in Pelourinho, distributing
nearly 6.000 Pamphlets, containing testimonies of lives that
were regenerated by Christ.
During this work they could see lots of drugs users, free
drugs traffic, different kinds of addiction and degradations
of the human being. They continued visiting the place from
time to time, going to surrounding areas bringing spiritual
help, food, clothes and warm clothes.
Conversions and the wish to have a life-changing began. Living
this reality the group felt the need of embracing the cause
in a more structured way.
